Jamie Prophet
Jamie started playing golf at the age of 14, he found a short while afterwards that he wanted to pursue golf as a career.
In 2007 Jamie started his first position as a shop assistant at North Foreland and then went onto work at Wildernesse Golf Club in 2008, where he started the first stage of his PGA degree.
Subsequently, James is a fully qualified PGA golf professional and has been for the last ten years. After continuing to build a strong client base of amateur golfers of all standards, he looked to expand his coaching capabilities and experience with coaching other professionals. One of which was Warren Bennett who is a former European Tour player, James and Warren had some great success on the Jamega and Euro Pro tours. Jamie is still coaching other professionals and expecting some good results in the future.

He's been a golf pro at Stonelees Golf Centre now for 8 years.

Gary Bason
Gary is a very motivated coach and dedicated to the aims of his clients; he believes it is important to ensure his clients immediately feel at ease in the coaching situation as learning is more likely to occur when we feel comfortable.
He has a vast experience in working with all standards of player from complete beginners through to European Tour Professionals, this experience ensures he can adapt his coaching style to suit the person and help them achieve their objectives.
Most of his time is spent helping club golfers and recreational players achieve the improvements they desire with results being seen through a combination of game analysis, technique improvement, psychology and course management strategies.
Gary is also responsible for the running of the Junior Coaching at Stonelees and delivers various weekly classes aimed at all ages and standards of player. His experience and expertise in this area has led to him achieving ‘Kent Golf Approved Junior Academy’ status, along with him being recruited as the Kent Under 16s Squad Coach. His county squad will be receiving their coaching days with Gary at Stonelees before competing against other counties during the season.

James Cooper
Hi, I am James Cooper. A Playing and Teaching Professional.
I am a WGTF Qualified Coach (World Golf Teachers Federation) and have been professionally coaching since March 2020.
How do I teach?
I am a biomechanically minded coach who teaches you to swing your swing. I will test your knowledge and then fill in the gaps, if need be. I will goal set with you to make sure we are aspiring and reaching your goals.
I will take the stress out of your golf and your body. I believe in making your swing work around your physique and encouraging you to reach any height in the game that you wish to achieve. Whether that's enjoying the game more, lowering your handicap or becoming an elite pro.
